Preview of ‘Sierra Nevada and Tabernas, from Eternal Snows to the Desert’, featuring researchers from the UGR participating in the Smart Ecomountain–LifeWatch Eric project.

The documentary, for Arte Channel, will be screened at the Sala Máxima of the V Centenario Space on Wednesday, March 20th, at 7:00 PM.

The documentary “Sierra Nevada and Tabernas, from Eternal Snows to the Desert,” produced for the Franco-German channel Arte, and in which researchers from the University of Granada participated as scientific advisors, members of the Emart Ecomountain-LifeWatch Eric project, will have its premiere tomorrow, Wednesday, March 20th, at the Sala Máxima of the V Centenario Space, at 7:00 PM. Among those attending the premiere is the director of the documentary, Jennifer Aranda Walker, who will give a speech after the screening.

The documentary is a sequel to “Minuscule,” a series of animated films about fauna and flora that has been screened in 180 countries. Following this success, the Arte channel and the French company Flair Production developed a 52-minute documentary series about the world’s major natural parks, of which two seasons have already been recorded. The episode about Sierra Nevada, now premiering at the V Centenario Space, is the first episode of a third season that will undoubtedly be seen by thousands of people worldwide.
