All members of the university community are invited to the following seminar:
Title: ‘Preliminary Analysis of Planetary Boundary Layer (PBL) and Black Carbon (BC) Measurements’
Speaker: Inmaculada Foyo Moreno. Associate Professor at the Department of Applied Physics, University of Granada.
Organized by: Atmospheric Physics Group (GFAT)
Location: Andalusian Institute for Earth System Research (IISTA). Room 2
Date and Time: Friday, March 31, 2017, at 1:30 PM
Summary:
The main properties of the planetary boundary layer (PBL), such as its height and temporal evolution, are essential in climate studies, weather predictions, atmospheric chemistry, and air quality. With the aim of studying how PBL properties affect air quality, this seminar presents a preliminary analysis of PBL and BC (Black Carbon) measurements during the year 2015 in Granada.
