Climate Change: A Global Challenge. You Decide!

Today, Tuesday, December 19th, the Science Park inaugurates the exhibition “Climate Change: A Global Challenge. You Decide!” which showcases the results of three European projects: Smart EcoMountains, TechEthos, and SpaceEU. These projects present technological innovations currently implemented to monitor and mitigate the effects of temperature variation. The ethical dimension is present in the development of these advances and takes center stage in the exhibition discourse.

Inauguration of the temporary exhibition Date and time: Tuesday, December 19th, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. Location: Péndulo Building. Entrance through the Macroscopic Building. Speakers:

  • Luis Alcalá, Director of the Science Park Andalusia-Granada.
  • Pedro Mercado, Rector of the University of Granada.
  • Antonio Díaz Sánchez, Deputy for European Funds, Development, Industry, and Employment of the Provincial Council of Granada.
  • Francisco de Asís Muñoz Collado, Director of the Sierra Nevada National and Natural Park.
  • Amparo Sánchez, singer from Amparanoia.

Following the press conference, there will be a guided tour of the exhibition of informative resources led by Regino Zamora, scientific coordinator of the Smart EcoMountains project.
